KNS Quiz

We had a fantastic night on Sunday when the PTA hosted a fun quiz at the One Fat Bird. Your support helped us raise $1500 to purchase additional learning resources for the KNS students.

Volunteers needed for language translation and communication support for families who speak English as a second language (ESL)

Did you know there are 18 (including English) languages our KNS families and children speak daily? ESL families who have recently joined our school often find it difficult to process school information written in English or communicate about their children’s needs. We are recruiting parents who can help translate between English and other languages to help ESL families and their children thrive in our community.

Volunteers will help ESL parents translate school reports, write emails to school or attend teacher parent meetings in person and more! We also want to hear from you whether your children are interested in being a translator/buddy for their ESL friends at school.
