Message from the Principal

E te whānau, tēnā koutou katoa,

Ngā mihi maioha ki a koutou katoa. Ko Te Wiki o te Reo Māori tēnei. Kei te whakanui mātou i te reo Māori i tēnei wiki ki te kura. Ka kitea, ā, ka rangona te reo. Kia kaha te reo Māori. Mauri ora ki a tātou katoa!

Warm greetings to you all. This is Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. We are celebrating te reo Māori at school this week. Te reo will be seen and heard. Let’s make the language strong. Good health to everyone!

Our new school board takes office today. Thank you to all the candidates who stood for election, the high number of candidates at KNS is testament to the strong support that the school receives from the parent/caregiver community. The new KNS board is:

  • Blair Wightman – Parent Representative
  • Joe Benbow – Parent Representative
  • Natalie Vaughan-Sanders – Parent Representative
  • Rosemary Mose – Parent Representative
  • Simon Johnson – Parent Representative
  • Phil McIntosh – Staff Representative
  • Conrad Kelly – Principal

The first meeting of the new board will be held in the staffroom, next Tuesday 20 September commencing at 6.30pm.

Newsletter Translation Feature

Our newsletter now includes a new translation feature. The newsletter can be translated into the following languages:
