KNS FUNDRAISER - PURCHASE YOUR NZ ART SHOW TICKETS AT THE OFFICE
If you purchase your NZ Art Show tickets at school, KNS will get 100% of the proceeds. $10 p/ticket - available from the school office (2-4 June TSB Arena).
The KNS Wētā Workshop Creativity Competition is back for 2023!
For the 3rd year running, our wonderful friends at Wētā Workshop invite all students to participate in the KNS Wētā Workshop Creativity Competition.
They have once again kindly provided 4 x Family Passes for the amazing Wētā Workshop Experience to be won! These prizes will be evenly split across Years 1-2, Years 3-4, Years 5-6 & Years 7-8.
There are no limits or rules to what can be entered, so the more creative the better! Enter your: art, sculpture, poem, story, original Lego build, song, dance, wearable art, stop-motion video - anything creative!
Check out the poster (also linked here) for steps on how to enter and chat with your kids about what they might like to do. They’ve got 5 and a half weeks - entries close Sunday 7th May!
COLLECT YUMMY FRUIT STICKERS
Please help KNS to earn new sports equipment (we earned $2,175 of gear in 2022- thank you to everyone who collected, and especially to the Yummy Fruit Company!). Simply buy any fruit with a “Yummy” sticker attached - apples, pears, plums, etc and collect the stickers (or plastic bag labels). If you buy ‘Ambrosia’, ‘Sweet Tango’ or ‘Lemonade’ apples, you can earn DOUBLE points!
Look out for collection sheets to pop your stickers/labels on, which will be coming home in school bags in the next week. You can also print them off at https://www.yummyfruit.co.nz/schools/
Completed sheets can be returned to the school office. We will be collecting until September - happy munching!
