It has been a busy time with the rowing season in full swing over the holidays and our Katikati College Rowing Team is off to a flying start.

Katikati College rower Grace Carver worked hard in a double to get into the finals at the Christmas Regatta at Karapiro with the Bay of Plenty Coast Rowing Club. The Christmas Regatta is a three day event in which over 2,000 rowers compete for a place in the finals, so well done Grace.

Rowers train during the week, after school and sometimes at the weekend. If you think you might like to have a go, why not come down to the Bay of Plenty Coast Rowing Club, which is based at 369 Wairoa Road, Bethlehem, on Sunday February 12th at 10am.

Come and meet the rowers and enjoy a morning by the river.
