At the end of last term this team played Te Puke in the final for the first round of their competition. This was a very fast, skillful and exciting game.

Our boys battled well showing good structure and team play. Logan Dobbs made some outstanding saves in goal, confidently diving on several occasions to save goals. Oliver Griffiths, Anton Turnwald and Curtis Moore tackled well and turned defence into attack consistently. Baxter Anderson worked tirelessly in the midfield connecting well with Jack Preston and Rory Robertson.

Final score: Katikati 3 Te Puke 2.
