Katikati College Athletics
Our annual Athletics Sports were held in very hot weather on Wednesday 24 February. There were many outstanding efforts and some massive battles as students of all age groups completed across the range of track and field events.
With a whole school turnout (including staff) it was a fantastic day.
Special mention must go to Luke Spurr (Yr 7), Jess Harray (Yr 8), Sally Carter (Juniors) and Libby Bradley (Seniors) who have taken out 'the double' with earning Katikati College Championship Titles at both Swimming and Athletics.
Also the four Uilou siblings deserve special mention with Afuhia 2nd in Yr 7 Girls', Tesimoni Junior Boys' Champion, Uliti Senior Boys' Champion and Lose 2nd in Senior Girls'. Congratulations - what a great effort!
