A group of Year 7, 8 and 9 students attended the first of four local 'Robotics Scrimmages' held at Otumoetai Intermediate School recently.

The focus for the day was familiarity with the new game challenge and competition rules. Every team member has multiple opportunities to drive the robot. This year the Year 7 and 8 challenge is called 'ring master' and the images show how rings are all over the playing arena, points are scored by staking the rings on the arms and over the poles. 

The next scrimmage is on 2nd September.
