The Waikato/BOP Regional Cross Country Championships were held in Taupō on June 6. Three Katikati College girls went through and due to changes at New Zealand level for age groups they were all required to run in the U20 Senior Girls division. The girls achieved spectacular results with Dakota Eade finishing 2nd, Abbie Davey 12th and Madeleine Schnackenberg 29th out of a 52-strong field. Their combined results gave the College 4th place overall behind Waikato Diocesan, St Peter's and Hamilton Girls'. This is our best school result in recent history.
