College students recently participated in this festival with some great results.

The advanced players of the College band joined the Katikati Concert Band to perform the 1st Movement of First Suite in E♭ by Gustav Holst, Sorta Salsa with soloist Sonia Bullot by Ed Wilson and Hollywood Milestones which is an eleven movie theme medley. They received a gold medal ability standing and won the Dave and Ruth Cochrane Cup for Adjudicator Pick. This is our second gold in the last four years and our first trophy. The bands are from all over Auckland and Waikato with our band being the only one from BOP.
