Katikati College Senior Boys are the BOP Champions after a thrilling semi-final against Rotorua Boys High School where they came out just ahead 2-1 with Eli Millen and Nishi Ravji the scorers. This left them to meet Aquinas College in the final. The team had a strong performance all day in this knock-out style tournament held at Trustpower Arena with wins over Otumoetai College, Whakatane High and Te Puke High before the last two games. The final was an easier game in the end with KKC taking it 4-0, a hat trick to Sam Taylor with Shay Hyde-Coltman getting the 4th. Shay was the high scorer of the day coming away with 10 and goalkeeper Dylan Wilmshurst got one to his tally with an end to end effort! 

The Senior Girls finished 4th overall, a great result for an inexperienced futsal team. The Junior Boys had a strong day as well, winning 3 and narrowly losing 1 to eventual winners Tauranga Boys 2-3 in their pool matches. 

The Year 7 boys team had a great first outing improving every game, playing hard without any subs, which bodes well for the future if they keep playing.
