On Tuesday, 9 August our Year 8 Leaders attended IBOP, Inspire Bay of Plenty. This event was created by current head students at local schools across the region. Its goal was to help aspiring leaders develop their confidence and network with other aspiring leaders from other local kura. Our own Head Boy Anton Turnwald and Head Girl Lavleen Kaur were there supporting our students, whilst running and organising events and activities. Our guest speaker Anne Tolley spoke of her time in leadership and gave three pieces of advice, good leaders take people with them, seize every opportunity and don't worry about what others think.
