Lesen Huiarangi had an outstanding weekend of Judo at the Auckland Internationals that were held at the Kohimarama Stadium in July.  22 countries took part.  

Lesen fought in the Senior Boys 66+ Division and the Senior Boys Open Division winning gold in both. He had a total of 8 fights and won them all!

With a huge crowd the contest had everyone on their feet, and Lesen wowed them with a beautiful throw to win by an Ipon (100).
