On Wednesday 22 June at the Kollective Working Centre in Tauranga Eva Sunderland and Ashton Coxhead celebrated their participation in the May intake of the Outward Bound course held at Anakiwa in the South Island. This was a great evening with a gathering of Year 12 students from six other high schools in the Western Bay of Plenty. These 14 students were each given a scholarship from The Acorn Foundation to attend this amazing 21 day course where they were pushed to their limits. This is an annual initiative that Katikati College has been invited to take part in for the past five years.
