The final of the BOP Rugby Secondary Schools 2nd Division was held in clear and windy conditions at Otumoetai College; Katikati College 1st XV vs Papamoa College 1st XV.

After a thrilling match played in outstanding spirit and attended by a large Katikati contingent, Katikati College won the championship with a score of 42-26.
