On August 1 we took our robots to TECT Arena and competed in the first of four local scrimmages.

Participating is always challenging with competing winter sports commitments,  but we did have a small and dedicated group of students in attendance. Results were mixed with Liam Kean and Eugene Pfennig placing 1st with a borrowed clawbot. Murdoch Cameron came  4th with his own design and there were placings of 10th and 12th for the other teams. I have no doubt the workshop will be abuzz with changes to designs and lots of testing ahead of the next scrimmage. Well done to Caelan Cameron, Rory Robertson and Michael Kean for flying the flag for VEX EDR.
