As part of the Health programme in Term 4 all Year 9 and 10 students will be completing a unit on ‘Sexuality, Relationships and Decision Making’.

In the following weeks classes will be completing Hei Haurahi,  ‘The Sexuality Road’, unit. Hei Haurahi draws from across the three strands of the Health and Physical Education learning area in the New Zealand Curriculum; personal health and physical development, relationships with other people, and healthy communities and environments. This aims to encourage individual difference, diversity in adolescent changes, and encourage positive decision making and assertiveness skills.

If you do not want your son/daughter to attend these sessions please complete and return the newsletter about this to their Health teacher.
