Juliet Dunlop-Fraser —

Our squash players continue to make headlines, taking out the Thames Valley Secondary Schools Division I Boys Championship for the first time and winning the BOP Division II Girls Championship.

Thames Valley Secondary Schools

Seeded No 1, the boys' team of Glenn Templeton (B2), Owen Whalley (C2) and Daniel Clay (D1) played excellent squash all day and did not drop a set to take out the first division cleanly. Owen Whalley had a real nail-biter last game that he won 16-14 to give Katikati the Championships.

The 2nd team of Dan Astwood, Cole Clement and Justin Coxhead came 3rd.

The girls’ team of Ashleigh Templeton, Acacia Davis-Pio and Emily Snowball-Boyes had a great day as well winning the Plate!

BOP Secondary Schools

Our Girls' A Team then went to the BOP Div II Team Championships in Te Puke on Friday 17th June. The team of Ashleigh Templeton, Acacia Davis-Pio and Ciel Butler had a terrific day on court winning gold in the Div II Champs.

Well done to all our Squash Teams!
