Noho Marae ki Te Rereatukahia

Chardonnay Conrad —

Student Chardonnay Conrad reports on last term's noho marae.

Day 1.  We got down to the marae to hear about Eddie Bluegum's arrival.  We sat down and talked about the history of our marae.  We asked questions and bickered. One hour later it was all over. We stretched and hikoi'ed outside to learn about our marae and our river.

Day 2.  We woke up to an alright breakfast and cleaned the mess after.  About an hour later we all went and had showers.  Four hours of kapas was up next. We did a dress rehearsal and practised for a good 2 hours.

Day 3. We woke up feeling drowsy. It was the last day of our noho marae. We packed our bags and left.
