This fashion and design competition for secondary school students was held on August 10 at Baycourt Theatre.

All students of Fabric Technology are eligible to enter.  This year there were over 280 entries in nine themed sections. Katikati College had five entries from Year 11 and 12 students. They all looked great on the catwalk and scored well with the judges.

Ainsley Brooks (Year 12) entered the Red Carpet section with her elegant ball dress and was also nominated for her workmanship.

Tesimoni Uilou (Year 12)  entered the Red Carpet section with his striking blue and white suit.

Kate Guptill (Year 11) entered the Rainbow People section with her two-piece rainbow tracksuit and also had a second entry, a white dress, modelled by Ariana Manakau in the Bohemian section.

Gabby Ross (Year 11) entered the Surface Design section with a gorgeous blue dress with a hand-beaded neckline.
