The NZ Secondary School Wrestling Championships were held in Hawera recently brought yet more success to our Katikati College Wrestlers.

Suraj Singh wrestled brilliantly to take the Gold in the Senior U69kg division and was also awarded the Most Scientific Senior Wrestler Special Award. He has been selected to compete in the World Champs in Georgia.

In the U53kg Juniors, Kaj Tata won a Silver medal. In the Senior 97kg division Zyre Vandeweil Milina received the Bronze and in the 86kg Seniors Rajpreet Singh came 5th.

These results gave Katikati College 4th place overall.
