Katikati College sent a team of twelve students and four adults across the ditch to represent our kura in the annual Gold Coast Netball Tournament for the first time ever.

Day 1 and 2 consisted of grading games where Katikati Senior A won six out of nine games, narrowly missing out on being placed in the A grade.  The girls played with spirit, determination and sportsmanship throughout, making them top of the B grade going into finals. They came away third overall after a close loss in the semi finals. Ashley Shanley and Roelien du Plessis were stand out players who showed incredible leadership. The trip to Australia was extremely successful and we hope to attend again in two years' time.
