A team of 19 athletes set off in gorgeous conditions to run at the Thames Valley Cross Country Champs held at South Farm, Mangatarata. After a lot of rain it was extremely boggy and wet underfoot but at least the sun was shining. A true cross country with hills, streams and swamps we had great results as follows with 7 athletes finishing in the top ten and able to go forward to the Waikato-BOP Champs. A fantastic final kilometre saw Mike Rousell win the U16 boys in amazing form.
