On Tuesday September 21, Katikati College held a hugely successful Shave For A Cure.

It was great to see so many students and staff supporting those who participated in the shave. Thank you too to all those people who worked behind the scenes to make this happen. Head Boy Dandré Du Plessis, Thomas Swain, Mr Vallely, Mr Pratt, Mr Hyslop, 2018 Head Boy Cam Hankins, Jemima Geary, and BOT rep Sofia House all braved the clippers in order to raise money for Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand. Thanks heaps to past student Zane Huiarangi for coming back to shave everyone’s head! Together, they raised over $4,000 and the figure is still climbing! A massive thanks to the community for supporting and making generous donations and commitment to helping with this wonderful cause! It wouldn’t have been such a big success without you..
