ARC - ASPIRATION, RESPONSIBILITY AND CITIZENSHIP

Louise Buckley —

We have been speaking to our students about how they can show Responsibility through following instructions.

By now we expect our students to understand the routines of their classes and know what is expected of them. However we find that teaching our students what following instructions looks like in a range of settings, is something that we have to actively teach throughout the year.

One aspect of this is to do with uniform. We are a uniform school and we expect our students to wear their uniform with pride.  As Mr Harray has said on many an occasion, the crest on our uniform has been worn by thousands of students over the years. Terms 2 and 3 are our colder terms and during this time some students make a choice to wear incorrect uniform. Non-school jumpers and hoodies are not part of our uniform and wearing them to and from school is not allowed. Shoes should be black leather or leather look – this helps to keep feet dry during the wetter months. Students can also wear Roman sandals.

You can help your child by making sure that they have the correct uniform and that they wear it every day.  Thank you for your support in this.
