Logan Dobbs, Ben Jenkins and Cyrus Irwin represented Katikati College at the annual BOP/Waikato E Volocity regional competition.

Driving a cart they made last year, the boys got their first look at the competition and can be proud of their efforts. They were entered in the open section against some top electric vehicles. We were blessed with an unseasonably warm and sunny Hamilton day. Our best events were the drag race and the gymkhana. All the lads are keen to return in 2021 and there is talk of competing for the coveted Showstopper award for the best design and finish. Irrespective of competitiveness it is a lofty goal.
