Congratulations to Hannah Bayes who has recently been named Champion Team Member at the St John National Youth Festival.

At the end of 2016 Hannah was selected to be part of the St John Youth Northern Region Competition Squad. She travelled to Auckland for training camps every second weekend throughout Term One this year in preparation for the St John National Youth Competitions.

The competitions were held as part of the St John National Youth Festival in Whanganui (April 21-24). The competitions involved a full day of working through team and individual first aid scenarios and communication and drill tests.

Hannah did her district and region proud being named Champion Team Member Number 2. This was an amazing opportunity for Hannah where she made a lot of friends, learnt some valuable skills from some amazing people and even caught up with Hayley Wolfenden, one of our past students.
