Our Pasifika students participated in the first ever Pasifika short film competition to celebrate Pasifika Youth and their stories. They worked really hard to submit FIVE short films! We took a group of them to the red-carpet (prizegiving) event in Rotorua and our students represented us so well. They came away with FIVE trophies!

Best Editor: Melina Pelesikoti
Best School: Katikati College 

Shout out to our school principal for covering the transport fees for our group and to the Board of Trustees for their generous koha that went towards food for our trip to Rotorua! We look forward to next year's competition.
