The top regional level of cross country was held at Kihikihi Domain on Wednesday 9th June and we were well represented with 10 runners.

It was a beautiful day though a little heavy underfoot with the domain presenting a very spongy running surface. The route was around the domain and surrounding area and was fairly flat making it a fast race. All the runners ran very well against very strong opposition.

Placings were:

Year 9 Girls: Tayla Frith 27th, Charlotte Wright 33rd, Kara McCormick 49th

Year 9 Boys: Leo Willacy 40th

U16 Girls: Gemma Groenewald 14th, Abby Eveleigh 30th, Destinee Benge 44th

U16 Boys: Flynn Warren 26th

U20 Boys: Sean Nicholson 18th, Daniel Nicholson 21st
