Stella Hamilton-Wallace was the sole representative from Katikati College at the BOP Snowboarding Championships on August 13 at Turoa.

An epic day up the hill saw a great day of competition and a bluebird day.  Although an avalanche put a stop to the Slop Style Competition, the Giant Slalom went ahead on mid-mountain.  Stella earned a silver medal in the Senior Girls Giant Slalom with a fastest time of 34.94. Next up for Stella is the North Island Secondary School Snow Championships in late September.
