The Senior Girls’ Basketball team has finished a very successful first season by winning the B Grade Girls’ League in the Tauranga City Basketball Competition. 

Coached by Year 13 students Maddy and Lydia Kilford, the player-coaches have taken a group of ‘new to basketball’ girls and melded them into a very strong unit with good skills. They won their final game with a fantastic 76-22 score.

The team would like to thank Bob Kilford for his help as team Dad and also their fantastic sponsor.

The Senior Boys’ finished 5th in their grade and the Junior Boys’ finished 8th.

Huge thanks to Julie Aylwin who has coached, managed, organised uniforms, transport and been all things to the basketball teams this year.
