Thames Valley Secondary School Swimming Champs
Katikati College sent a large and experienced contingent to Matamata to compete against our other regional schools on Tuesday 1 March. With two nationals swimmers in our team it was hoped for some great results and they were definitely forthcoming with three Thames Valley Secondary Schools swimming records broken.
Libby Bradley continued her winning way breaking the Senior Girls' 100m and 50m Freestyle records in the stunning times of 1:00.69 and 28.30 respectively. Tessa Bradley also swam a perfect 100m Butterfly to smash the Intermediate Girls' record in 1:11.40. Well done to both of them.
