Rogaine

Stacey Walden —

Twelve Students took on the Hamilton Hillary Rogaine Challenge recently.

The Year 9 boys team of Jack Harray, Fletcher Anderson and Leo Willlacy came in fourth place overall finding 21 markers. Three girls teams did the race and the team of Meg Harray and Mackenzie Walters placed tenth overall. Part way through the race it poured with rain. Some students luckily sought shelter under a bridge while others ran through the rain. KKC will be participating in the BOP champs on Sunday July 11 at Pongakawa. Please let Mrs Walden in A9 know if you would like to participate. Many of the members of the rogaine teams will also be doing Get2Go on Tues August 10 in Hamilton. This involves biking, orienteering, kayaking, paddle boarding and problem solving. If you're keen to join this team please let Mrs Walden know as we are in need of some back up team members.
