NATIONAL SELECTION

Congratulations to Joshua McGinty who has been selected into the Inline Hockey New Zealand U16 NARCh (North American Roller Hockey Championship) Team 2023 to play in Los Angeles. This is the premier tournament series for competitive travel roller hockey. NARCh is the largest roller hockey tournament in the world. In addition, the youth portion of the tournament has grown to become the largest youth indoor sporting event in the world.

The annual division champions of NARCh are widely accepted as being the best roller hockey teams in the world. Well done Josh, we look forward to hearing all about this amazing opportunity.

UMPIRE SELECTIONS
Congratulations to Gemma Groenewald and Meghann Fraser, two of our top youth officials, who have been given umpire appointments at age-group tournaments this year. Gemma has been appointed to the Netball NZ U18 Nationals Championships being held in Christchurch in July. Meghann has been appointed to the NZ Hockey Northern Regions U16 tournament in North Harbour in October.
