On Thursday 16 June,  four of our Year 13 students travelled to The University of Waikato, Tauranga Campus to participate in a presentation day.  Eva Freeman, Lavleen Kaur, Caitlin Meade, Lola Meeking-Coad and Chantelle Wenzlick are participating in a new first year University paper set up by the Waikato Management School Leaders Academy. This is a pilot course which includes high schools from the wider Bay of Plenty and the Hamilton region. Our students presented a group PowerPoint focused on an inspirational leader of their choice. Sadly Lola was unable to attend on the day but the others stepped out of their comfort zones and represented Katikati College with a strong presentation focused on Lady Diana. The next presentation will be at the Waikato Campus in early August.
