Thank you to Maria Thorn and Julie and David Hayes for hosting Year 13 Innovative Horticulture/Agribusiness students on their recent visit to the honey processing facility.

The students enjoyed a tour of the facility, a question and answer session and had a go at a blind taste testing of seven different honeys, with a little assistance from Maria.

The task that follows is to design and carry out a scientifically valid investigation into consumer preferences for the different sensory characteristics of honey, with the honey for this being kindly supplied by BeeNZ.
