Our Pasifika students have recieved a generous amount of funding from the Pacific Education Innovation Fund (Minsitry of Education) and because of this funding we are able to start some really awesome intiatives for our Pasifika students. Fa'afetai lava (thank you so much) to the Ministry!

We have started a Po Ako (Homework Club) for our Pasifika and Maori students, where they can bring in any work that they need support with and we offer them help. A need that came from one of our Pasifika parent meetings was that our Pasifika students need a safe space that they can come to and ask for help. Our first Po Ako session was held Thursday, 23 March and it was a success!  Shout out to Whaea Aroha and Miss Chye for coming along to support our students with their assignments.
