The top Baywide Cross Country race was held at Woodlands School in Opotiki on Tuesday 28th June.

Though the area was hit by heavy rain the course managed to recover in time to produce a fantastic if technically tricky run. 

With 40 runners in each age group, Katikati College Yr7 & 8's were very successful, particularly the Nicholson brothers who held onto their unbeaten record in this series, Sean recovering from an early fall to fight back into 2nd place.
