Kura Kai is now supporting our community through Katikati College

Kura Kai lives by the value of manaakitanga with a simple kaupapa of “whānau cooking for whānau”.The organisation does this by raising funds to purchase chest freezers, which it donates to the secondary schools it supports.Kura Kai then builds a local community of volunteers who give their time, money and resources to cook nutritious family meals to help keep the freezers well stocked. Each school is then responsible for identifying the need and distributing the meals to support rangatahi and their whānau.
Kura Kai is now supporting our community through Katikati College. A freezer has been generously donated to our kura, (thank you to Megan Branks and Ecotone Coatings),  and is already being stocked with nutritious meals to be distributed within our community!
