The annual Waihi College/Katikati College exchange took place on Monday July 2 this year and though conditions started a little cold and damp, the competition was hot.

 With 14 scheduled matches there was lots to watch and some outstanding games ensued. The overall score was a draw with seven games each. Wins to Katikati College were in 1st XV Rugby, 1st XI Boys Football, 14/15 Boys Football, Year 8 Boys Football, Senior A Netball and Year 8 Netball, with Waihi College taking out the Senior Boys and Girls Basketball, Junior Boys Basketball, Year 7/8 Boys Basketball, 1st XI Girls Football and the Development 1 Netball. Both schools won one debate each in the new debating section. It was a great day overall.
