On Thursday, September 17 our two speech winners attended the "Tall Poppies" speech competition to compete against the winners from eight other schools within our Western Bays Cluster.

Amelia McGinty won the competition and Miles Jonson came second! Miles (Year 8) gave a very entertaining and informative speech about The Darwin Awards ... the award that you should never strive to be the recipient of! Amelia (Year 7) spoke about 'Ancient Times' and thoroughly entertained the audience with what life was like back in the 80's. Both speakers were outstanding ambassadors for our school with the competition being of a very high standard. We are proud of such a brilliant outcome and achievement for these two very talented speakers. Congratulations to them both.
