Prior to the nation-wide shut down Covid 19 was on everyone’s minds and the Student Council wanted to generate some positivity for our learning community. So we decided to create a Manaakitanga Wall, which turned into a Manaakitanga Tunnel!

Students from Katikati College created walls of positivity to walk through, as you enter our kura from Beach Rd. Students from all over the school came in at interval and lunchtime to leave positive and colourful messages and notes all over the glass walls of our entrance atrium. There was little space to spare by the end.
