Every year we have lovely books donated to the school library and we would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge some of those donations for 2019.

Mrs Heuseveldt has donated a copy of "Our Planet" by Alastair and Keith Scholey in memory of her husband Kees. Mr & Mrs Heuseveldt were teachers at Katikati College. We have had wonderful donations by Ms Ann Templeton, and Angie Tran Van, a past pupil. The Japanese Exchange Programme has donated a book on Japanese philosophy and the Poetry New Zealand Yearbook came as a result of Phoebe Robertson winning first and third prizes in the Year13 category of the New Zealand Yearbook Student Poetry Competition. A number of College families have also donated high interest books which they may have read once or twice, and these too are always gratefully received.

We also are supported with our History Collection by The Bridget Williams Trust, which every year sends a comprehensive selection of New Zealand themed books including BWB Texts.

Once again, thank you to every one who has contributed to making our School Library more interesting.
