A team of students volunteered again to run the "Plant-Minder" stand and help out with sales.

Business was brisk, with many customers returning time and time again with newly purchased plants for us to "mind" while they went in search of more. It was quite an experience!

Last year the Bay of Plenty Tree-Croppers kindly donated half the profits from the sale to our Innovative Horticulture Programme, enabling us to purchase specialist equipment for teaching tissue culture and electronics. This year funds will go to Pahoia School. Thank you Tree Croppers for supporting the community and well done Rose, Liona, James, Phamake and Astin for turning up early on a Saturday.
