Life Education Breakfast 2018

Hilary Johnson —

This is the major fundraising event for Life Education in the Western Bay of Plenty region this year. It will be held on Friday 4 May.

Life Education’s two specialist educators and their lovable mascot, Harold the Giraffe, visit over 12,000 primary and intermediate children at 50 schools between Katikati and Otamarakau, in their two mobile classrooms.

They receive no government funding and must raise over $120,000 each year to keep the programme running in Western Bay of Plenty schools. Therefore they rely heavily on community support, including grant funding, sponsorship, donations and fund raising.

The theme of the fundraising breakfast will be health and wellbeing, and there will be three wonderful special guests - Gemma McCaw, Dr Anna Rolleston and Sam Dowdall, (Sam the Barter Barber).

The success of this fundraiser depends on the support of our community. Please see the attached flier for more information.
