This National Squash Tournament was run during the school holidays from 29th Sept -2nd Oct in Hamilton. Once again Katikati was well represented at this tournament with Glenn Templeton, Katie Templeton, Owen Whalley, Dan Astwood and Olivia Astwood playing their respective Age Group divisions.

Glenn played in the Under 15 boys and after are solid year of training, travelling throughout NZ to tournaments to represent both his club, region and country he once again claimed the NZ Junior Under 15 Boys’ National Champion title. This is a back to back win for Glenn and is again a reflection of the hard work and dedication that Glenn shows towards his squash.

Glenn has also been selected as a member of the Bay of Plenty team for the NZ National Junior Inter-team Championship being played in Hamilton on 3-5 October.

Katie played in the U15 Girls and played some great squash to win the Consolation Plate.

Owen played in the U17 Boys, Dan U15 Boys and Olivia U13 Girls. They all played some fantastic squash and definitely made their higher graded opponents work hard for the win in their consolation plate finals.
