From February 18 2019 the University and Toi Ohomai will offer a new service to bring students from the Katikati area to the new campus building in Tauranga CBD.

The bus will operate Monday to Friday every week from February 18  2019 (Orientation) through to October 11 (the last teaching week of Semester B).

The bus will run from the Katikati township with selected stops along State Highway 2 from Katikati through to Bethlehem. It will arrive in Tauranga before 9 a.m. and depart just after 4 p.m. daily.

If you'd like to register for the Katikati bus, please express your interest via email to bus2uni@waikato.ac.nz In your email, please include your student ID number and your interest in the Katikati bus, and we will be in touch with registration details and other information including pick-up locations and times.

This service is heavily subsidised by the University, and students will pay only $2 per ride.
