Waikato Bay of Plenty Athletics

Juliet Dunlop-Fraser —

The latest round of athletics has been completed with the combined Wai/BOP meet taking place at Porritt Stadium in Hamilton on 19th March.

Our athletes who had placed in the top 3 at Thames Valley were eligible to compete and did very well at this next level with the top 4 invited to compete at the North Island Champs. The College is very proud of all our athletes who competed in these champs - to finish in the top 10 in this strong region is a great effort. Those invited to go through to NISS Champs in Auckland were Roelien Du Plessis in 800m, Margaret Sukkel in Long Jump, Tesimoni Uilou in Triple Jump and Estelle Wallis in Javelin.
