Food Technology and Hospitality

Some exciting learning is going on already in the Food Technology and Hospitality room.

Our focus at the moment is working on skills and in particular over the next few weeks we will be concentrating on knife skills, learning how to handle knives and use them correctly, with our Year 9 and 10s starting with an entry level chef knife.The seniors have started with a bang making the most stunning bread, panna cottas and experimenting with chocolate. The focus here is all about presenting food to industry expectations and standards.
