Congratulations to Billie who has been invited to audition with the NZ Army Band at the end of 2017.

This is a week long audition where potential members spend the week rehearsing, training, learning to march with the band so that both the band and the potential member can see if they fit. They finish the week with a solo performance to the band before a final decision is made. Billie is the first Katikati College student to be invited and the second for brass tutor Rob Wilson who already has one trombone player in the band itself.
