The Katikati College Sports Prizegiving for Juniors and Seniors was held on Friday October 26.

Some extra formality was introduced in the way of tables and nibbles generously provided by the PTA and put together by Tracey Crapp. There was also a new Supreme Award category to recognise the top Volunteer, Coach and Team of the Year. The top sporting individual is recognised at Senior Academic Prizegiving.The guest speaker was Nicky Austin, former World Cup and Olympic Games rower, who spoke about her journey to the top, including some of the set backs she endured and how she came through to fulfill her dreams. MCs Jacob Topp and Sonya Lambert did an excellent job of keeping the evening running and presenting awards.
